About the role

We are seeking an experienced, responsible, and deeply knowledgeable engineer to support and help execute security engineering for CLIENT environments. You’ll assess the organization’s general security posture, develop strategic plans and processes, evaluate and harden systems, oversee SOC, MDR, AVM, and maintain tactical security responsibility for platforms that support thousands of customers and users every day. This position reports to the Director of Security and Compliance.

After a successful first year, you will have:

• Significantly improved the security standing of the organization through implementation of industry standard tools, processes, and internal expertise
• Enhanced and developed security practices that enable the organization to meet and exceed compliance targets for SOC2, ISO27001, HIPAA, and more

What you will do:

• Maintain comprehensive responsibility for security standards and implementation
• Act as internal Microsoft Defender for Cloud SME, owning all engineering and operational responsibility for the platform
• Partner with software and platform engineering teams to establish security baselines and standards
• Maintain an aggressive Azure Security Score both through reactive monitoring and proactive automation
• Support internal and external resources to meet ongoing technical and business demands
• Handle inbound security questions and concerns while proactively communicating to the organization on critical security topics
• Research and implement solutions to prevent malicious behavior at the point of attack, or otherwise rapidly identify, isolate, and shut down bad actors
• Introduce tools and processes to identify and report vulnerabilities in systems, services, containers, and infrastructure, through automated scanning, pen testing, and similar research efforts
• Assist the development team to understand threat vectors, model exposure, and implement best practices for application security
• Stay current with industry trends, CVE disclosures/exploits, and the state of the art in security technology to advise the broader team

What you will need

• 7+ years of experience in the information security space with a focus on Windows Server, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure
• Strong working knowledge of commercial and open-source security tools (IDS/IPS, SIEM, SAST, DAST, SCA, vulnerability scanners)
• Field experience managing intrusions and/or data breaches
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with a collaborative working style
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Defender products (365, Cloud, and Endpoint specifically)
• Experience developing automated security enforcement using either Azure Policy or Terraform (both strongly preferred!)
• A commitment to building a transparent and collaborative culture
• Nice to have: understanding of cloud security architectures in AWS or GCP
• Nice to have: IT security experience in a matrixed, geographically dispersed environment
• Nice to have: current industry certification (SSCP, CISSP, SANS GIAC or DevSecOps, )

What will make you stand out

• Experience in the healthcare domain, specifically in the provider / pharmacy space
• Advanced knowledge of application security for .Net desktop and web applications
• Experience using tools like Terraform and Azure Policy to automate infrastructure configuration and secure standards enforcement
• A demonstrated ability to acclimate quickly to new product / business domains.

Working Closely with the CISO of our US based Client

Working Hours:
Need to overlap US timings for some hours or as determined by management.

As a Technical Lead – Senior .NET Developer at Rite Technologies, you will:

•  Lead and guide the development team in designing and implementing robust solutions using ASP.NET with MVC framework.

3. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts and their application in software design.
4. Extensive experience with the Android SDK, including UI/UX guidelines, design patterns, and best practices.
5. Proficiency in Java programming language and a track record of delivering high-quality code.
6. Knowledge of Kotlin and Flutter is a plus, but not mandatory.
7. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, for collaborative development.
8. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tackling technical challenges.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
10. Experience with .NET REST APIs is advantageous and will be considered a valuable addition.
11. Prior experience in leading development projects and mentoring junior team members is preferred.
